Instagram post 2158140081068427931_30936047 Are you sick of these yet?! 🀷😁 It's almost time to start putting them together and I can't wait!! +++ I've started thinking about how to quilt it, and am wondering... As a pattern designer, I really want my patterns to stand out in a quilt, so I typically stay with pretty basic quilting designs. So the pattern is what gets your attention (the part that everyone can make). But I also know how good quilting can really take a quilt to the next level! 😍 (But here's the dilemma - not everyone has access to amazing quilters, or has the ability to quit it themselves - which I completely and fully support learning how to quilt your own quilts!! πŸ‘πŸ‘) But how do you feel about that?!! I've seen very basic quilt patterns given new life with their quilting, but otherwise it would be a rather dull pattern. If you see an amazing quilt with amazing quilting - do you buy the pattern because the whole quilt looks amazing only to be discouraged that you don't know how to quilt like the one you saw so your quilt is not what you had hoped it to be? (Ok, I am COMPLETELY sharing my own thought process right now of what would be going through my head, or what does go through my head... 🀦) ❀️ But I want to know what you think?!! Does the quilting contribute to you buying a pattern? Or not buying a pattern? Does it sometimes intimidate you and scare you away? Or does it inspire and motivate you? Please let me know in the comments! I'm super curious and would love to hear your thoughts. +++ PS.
