Meet My First Alphabet:
I’m not sure this pattern needs an introduction. This is hands down the MOST used pattern that anyone buys. And for good reasons. This is such a fun pattern to use over and over and over again. And that’s what I always hear from y’all! Thank you!!
My First Alphabet is also one of the earliest patterns I designed. I created it in January of 2013.
The first project I made was making my “word of the year”, which was PEACE. (The mini seems kind of boring now… It’s fun to see how my creativity has expanded. lol)
I also made this super cute pouch for my son. I think I do need to make more of these for my kiddos. It’s been so long since I made a pouch!
I did mess up on the “U” and didn’t round those bottom corners. lol. oops. haha.
Since then I added the additional size, so it’s now available in 3 inch and 6 inch tall letters.
It also includes instructions for scaling your letters so you can make them bigger or smaller.
There is also the Numbers & Punctuation pattern which includes 0-9 and I think 14 punctuation marks.
This is hands down my favorite project I’ve seen with the numbers!! How great is this for a baby quilt?!!
Your My First Alphabet projects
We have to give a HUGE shout out to people who have created entire quilts with loads and loads of letters! This is NO easy feat!!
In 2020, right before Covid hit – like literally, it was the end of February, I was able to go to Austin to Quilt Con. It was so awesome to see some of these quilts in person using my alphabet patterns!
It really is an honor to be able to be a part of your creativity!
What do you think??
What words, phrases, lyrics, poems, etc would you make with this pattern??
I’d love to hear what you think!
Do you like it?!
Which project is your favorite?
Are you buying the pattern?
