I'm still pulling fabric, and have already sorted a lot of it. I haven't bought fabric in a long time and most of this is super OOP and HTF. (Out of print and hard to find.) I'm hoping to take pictures on Wednesday and get it listed on my website right after!

Up next: Destash!

Y'all, it's finally time to start listing all my destash fabric! I have a LOT and plan to pull even more to sell.

I haven't quilted, or sewn (I did make one wallet 🙌 but that's it!), anything in the past year, and while I'm definitely not done with my sewing machine, it's time to let go of all the pretty fabrics I've been holding onto, and give them a home where they will no longer be neglected. 😜

Quick question:
I know I want to keep bundles by designer, but I'm wondering if I should sort them by:
- color (a yellow bundle, a green bundle, etc)
- by collection
Or
- random rainbow bundles

What's your vote?! What would you want to buy?

The benefit of dropping your kids off at school is experiencing skies like this! 😍

So I've got the itch to create!! I think it's time to design another pattern but I'm not sure what to make. Will y'all help me out?? (If you subscribe to my Newsletter you can give your input there! I just sent out an email!)

Should I design...
1. A cursive or script font alphabet
2. An alphabet with upper and lowercase
3. A geometric design - one that creates a variety of designs on repeat (like #fbp70sgeese or #fbpzodiacbom)
4. A shape or picture design (like #fbpheartattack or #fbpmidnightclear)

Y'all!! I did something quilt related tonight! 🎉 I took a picture of a quilt! 😂😂

I have this charity quilt (that my amazing pattern testers made... years ago 😬🤫🙈) all ready to send off to @nsquiltersguild, to add to their amazing collection of quilts that they donate to foster children, but I really needed a photo first. The lighting was so beautiful tonight so I ran out to my neighbors yard and borrowed their fence. He came out when I was done, and as I was picking up all my quilts that I had hoped to also photograph, and told me he thought I was some bum sleeping in his yard. 🤣🤣😂😂

I'm not sure what to think about that not being the first time someone thought I was a bum sleeping in their yard?! 😂😂🤦‍♀️

The pattern is called Rise Above (#fbpRiseAbove) and was created with the symbolism that no matter what we face in life or where we find ourselves, we can Rise Above it to find beauty, adventure, and love.

I can't think of a better person to give this bright colorful quilt to, than to a child who unfortunately has way too many things to rise above in their life.

I love quilts and their inherent nature to bring comfort to the recipient, and I pray that this quilt will do just that. ❤️

Hey y'all! How are you?? It's been a while so I thought I'd pop in and say hi!

Schools out for the kids this week, and I definitely have mixed emotions about summer 😬, but overall I'm excited to get out more and explore this beautiful country! 🏞️ These are some photos from a much needed hike I did yesterday with a friend! It's so beautiful here!! 😍

While my plate is overflowing with things to do, I do have a lot on the calendar for you! So stay tuned!! I haven't forgotten this quilting corner of my life. 🥰 It's just coming at a snails pace for now. 🐌😉
