Now that you have your flying geese assembled, we’re ready to start assembling the entire quilt top! I’ve already been seeing finished quilt tops popping up in the Facebook group and they are looking amazing!!
Assemble Side Strips
The most important thing to note on this step is to make sure that your geese are all facing the same direction as you piece the strips.
You’ll create one strip with the 2-geese sections, and one strip using all of the 3-geese sections.
I haven’t pieced my center section yet, and it’s not on my design wall straight, so the side strips don’t look straight… but I promise they are. 😉 lol.
Homework
Today’s homework is to assemble your side strips with the flying geese.
