New Pattern: Popsicle Sticks

I’m SUPER excited to share my newest pattern with you, Popsicle Sticks!!

Β

Popsicle Sticks 6 inch letters

Popsicle Sticks is an alphabet font for uppercase letters. It is available in 3 inch and 6 inch tall letters. The width varies by letter.

This font is pretty skinny… so beware that the 3 inch letters have some small pieces. But don’t fret, it’s still easy to use and really isn’t bad at all! Don’t be intimidated!!

Popsicle Sticks 3 inch letters

Here you can see how the Popsicle Sticks pattern compares with the My First Alphabet pattern. Both of these are the 6 inch letters.

Popsicle Sticks is on the left, My Frist Alphabet is on the right.

I LOVE that this font is still crisp and clean but has a playfulness to it! This will be great to add to so many projects!!

I created this pattern as a final thank you gift as part of my 10th Annual Birthday Celebration. If you grabbed the presale pattern, you can download the 6 inch pattern from your account now. (If you don’t have an account, or can’t access it from your account, please scroll to the bottom for some instructions before contacting me. Thanks!)

Want to see what my pattern testers made?!

I had the best pattern testers and they made some pretty awesome patterns!! Check these out in no particular order…

Helen make this super cute name which she then added into a pillow for her grandson! Isn’t it adorable?

Β

Debbie Griffiths went all out and made this AMAZING wall hanging for her sewing room!
Β
These are the 3 inch letters. She said she was nervous at first about using the 3 inch pattern, but she enjoyed it!
Β
She made up the ribbon design and it turned out fantastic!
Kimberly Watson made a wall hanging with her word for the year. I love how she added it into the heart! So creative!

Alicia Inskeep made some really cute names, too!

I’m not sure what her plan is with these, but they would be great to add into quilts, make mug rugs, pouches, pillows, or wall hangings, or anything you can think of, really!

Norma Hafley made this beautiful mini. (I LOVE how she quilted a rainbow in the background, and it also looks like the sun with sun rays! Beautiful!

This is by Marie Heppler. So fun!!

Dawn Martin made this beautiful mini for a friend using batiks.

She also made up her name! Both look so great!!

Kimberly Watson made a bunch of words and put them into this beautiful mini quilt.

Emily Freese made is making a fun project for her daughter, and I LOVE the confetti print she used!

Hilary Barber has used the My First Alphabet patter to put her babies names into their babies quilts. This time she made her baby’s name with the Popsicle Sticks pattern. She included the quilt she’s working on and I absolutely LOVE it!!!

This is by Meghan Murphree. This is the hashtag they used for their wedding last year and she’s making an anniversary project.
Happy Anniversary Meghan!
Joanne Harris made this name. It looks great with the bright green against the black!!
And last, but not least, this is by Jill McBroom. She said, “I love these letters. I may use these for every baby quilt I make in the future.”

Thanks Jill!!

I love the tally sheet and printing guide. I also really like that the size of the fabric strips to cut are marked, this will make piecing them together much faster

Presale Instructions

Did you get the Popsicle Sticks pattern when it was on presale??

If so, you can download it right from your account!

OR

If it’s not there, or you don’t have an account…

1. Create an account if you don’t have one.

2. Fill out the contact form and let me know the email you used when you purchased the presale, as well as the email associated with your account – if it is different.

3. I will add your order to your account where you’ll be able to download it.

To save us both time and hassle later, it’s so much easier to have an account. I do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with your information (unless I mail you something, then I use your address) and I keep my site very secure. So there is nothing to worry about there.

The biggest benefits of having an account are:

1. All of your patterns are in one spot, and you always have access to the most up-to-date version of the pattern, ready to download when you need it.

2. You can earn Quilting Rewards! With every purchase you make, you can earn quilting reward points that you can then redeem for discounts on future purchases. A lot of people have gotten free patterns this way!

By creating an account, you don’t ever have to email me telling me you lost your pattern – because it’ll always be there! (Though because sometimes technology struggles, I still do recommend to save a copy of your purchases in a safe place on your computer.)

And if I am not spending my time emailing patterns, I can use that time to create more awesome patterns for you!! Win/win!

I'd love to hear from you!

What do you think? Do you love it?

I hope you’ll share what you make with the Popsicle Sticks pattern! You can

love Diane

    Good Morning
I do not see the Popsicle Sticks pattern on my account and I am almost sure I selected it, but of course with the daily stress I may have not pressed the final button.
I am also remembering selecting the 6 in as my favorite
    Thanks Nilda Mager.
PS I am also working on a quilt using my first alphabet, but I cannot post photo yet as it is a gift 🀫

    1. Hi Nilda,
